Local non-Equity actors/dancers wanted for non-speaking roles in the Yale Rep world premiere of Sheila Callaghan's ELEVADA directed by Jackson Gay. Seeking all ethnicities, shapes and sizes. In addition to performing movement and dance sequences throughout the show, all local actor/dancers will be required to execute scene changes with the run crew (no exceptions). Acclaimed choreographers Kyle Abraham and Kevin Williamson http://abrahaminmotion.org/ seek actors/dancers that are inventive, theatrical, and comfortable with improvisation. Experience with contemporary modern dance, tango, and/or pole dancing is helpful but not required.

The dates of the production are April 24-May 16. The rehearsal schedule for these roles is TBD. Earliest first start date is March 27. This is a paying job open to performers with local housing only.

Auditions will be held March 25 & 26 in New Haven. Please contact Kay Perdue Meadows at kay.perdue@yale.edu to make an appointment.

Yale Rep holds general auditions and local Equity auditions every season in New Haven in the spring. These auditions will be advertised on the Yale Rep website, through AEA, and in local newspapers.
Auditions may also be scheduled throughout the season in New Haven based on specific production needs.

Local Equity auditions for Yale Rep's 2014-2015 season were held on May 30, 2014.
