Casting at Yale Rep

Yale Repertory Theatre works under the League of Regional Theatres (LORT) contract with Actors Equity Association (AEA), the union of actors and stage managers. The union determines the number of Equity and non-Equity actors cast in each production.

Yale Rep will hold Local Equity Principal Auditions for the 2016–2017 Season in New Haven on May 9, 2016. These auditions will be a joint open casting call with New Haven’s Long Wharf Theatre. Auditions will be held from 10am–6pm at 149 York Street in New Haven, CT. Please call the Long Wharf box office at 203.787.4282 to schedule an appointment. EMC/Non-AEA walk-ins will be put on a waitlist and will be seen as the schedule allows.

Yale Rep will also hold auditions in New York on May 9, 2016 with its NYC-based Casting Director, Tara Rubin Casting. For more information about auditions in New York or to view a breakdown of all roles in the Yale Rep 2016–2017 season, please visit the Actors' Equity Association website.
